Level 1 Home Survey
An RICS Level 1 Home Survey is a basic, low-cost report for newer or conventional properties in good condition. It outlines the property’s condition, highlights urgent defects, and identifies potential risks or legal issues, but does not include advice on repairs or maintenance.

Level 2 Home Survey
An RICS Level 2 Home Survey, formerly the Home Buyer Report, suits conventional properties in reasonable condition. It provides more detailed information than Level 1, including potential repairs and maintenance. It can be offered as a survey only or with a market valuation.

Level 3 Home Survey
An RICS Level 3 Home Survey, formerly the Building Survey, is the most detailed report. It offers an in-depth analysis of the property’s condition, with advice on defects, repairs, and maintenance. Ideal for older, altered, or run-down properties, or if major works are planned.
